dear norman,
i finally got your ‘american optimism’ and i think it is a fantastic release. ‘your girl, your problem’ has a strong evergreen potential.
greetings from the Eifel,

Comment by slick 10.11.08 @ 7:58 pmHey man,
I just wanted to say thanks for all the great TRON tracks (I fancy making the apparent connection between the TO and that great movie). So, to show my appreciation (and since I don’t have any money left) I want to turn your attention to what is called a “no-input console”. If you’re too bored searching for it on the web, I’d be more than inclined to tell you more. I think you’ll find it interesting.
Cheers
Comment by Paranormal Patroler 01.27.09 @ 5:16 pmI like the music I’ve listened to so far.
There’s this outfit in Hong Kong called Saiko Sounds (.com, not putting in the link so you will know I’m not trying to spam here). They will set you up with long, 2-4 minute excerpts of your tracks for streaming, and handle CD sales for you.
I’ve bought 7-8 CDs (Outersect, Chilled C’Quence, Tripswitch, etc.) from them, all excellent! I actually like buying CDs… just don’t like getting ripped off with crap music…
In the meantime, you’ll get some paypal action from this direction at some point (todo listed, batch processed).
Comment by Dave Doolin 04.10.09 @ 12:53 amNorman, perhaps you have not seen those “cookie sized computers” yet… in the video, they demonstrate their use to create music, too.

Thanks Jan, a friend who worked on the Block Jam research project back in 2003, sent me the TED conference link a while ago. In fact the Block Jam concept is quite similar but not as advanced as the Siftables.
Comment by admin 05.27.09 @ 8:54 pmPlease keep me posted of other links/things that may help me get a head-start in programming my TO, especially the possibility of being able to upload a TO composition/with its complete settings onto my hardrive, and then save it to an SD card, for replaying/re-editing/re-using in my own TO. This would be wonderfully great and a good head-start help in using my TO. And it would be a great credit too to the original composer, as he or she would duly get acknowledged. I don’t really mind any type of music/beats/rythm…just anything musical that I can adapt/edit for our Church use.
God bless you all for reading, and helping out.
