My new audio concept Imperial Presidents is inspired by the self-published book ‘War Is A Lie’, which is deemed to be the most comprehensive anti-war statement available in the English language.

I recently listened to some interviews with author David Swanson and decided to take the most significant parts of these recordings and surround them with sound. As simple as that.

www.warisalie.org
Enjoy the noise.

The "One American Second" project is running in its 8th year now! 20 audio concepts have been released so far varying from experimental sound to cultural sampling, field recordings, just electronic stuff and many other ‘genres’. It has been such a great journey throughout the years. All your wonderful feedback and the many contacts I have made provided a feeling of ‘being on the right track’.

This project will surely continue in case you’re wondering why you haven’t seen any new releases recently. It has partly to do with my life in general which kept me totally busy over the last 12 months. Also, there wasn’t much time left to work on new things beside the Kling Klang Machine project for Kraftwerk. However, I will surely use the remaining months this year to refocus my creativity a bit and plan to be back in early 2012 with a brand new release.

It’s always good to check this webspace here from time to time to learn about news. If you wish to stay in touch more closely and get all the gossip (which I usually don’t post here) just add me on FB. I hate this system but it seems to be a widely accepted way to communicate more frequently so if you wish to do that - please help yourself. Also, I have started to use Soundcloud more and more for sharing my noise which means, not all releases might be available here on this website in the future so make sure to bookmark my Soundcloud page as well. If you wish to write me an email, you will find my address in the "Just Say Something" section.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

This is the explanation for my long time absence throughout the past months…in case you’re asking about the lack of music, sound and projects. Well, I have been working with KRAFTWERK on an app that features an interactive 24hrs music generator - a truly exciting project that kept me busy the last 2 years. The app just went live tonight and I am certainly a little bit proud I can now share this with the community.

It’s a novel system that creates music and sound based on realtime data depending on your location that are continuously feeded into the app, meaning the KLING KLANG MACHINE No1 can’t be compared with other generative music apps which mostly utilize pre-programmed algorithms. There are some nice ways to manipulate sound and store personal preferences. The original concept will be more and more implemented in future updates and releases.

July 08 2011: V 1.0.1.0 is available
Aug 04 2011: working on V 2.0.0.1
