Beautiful stuff. Up til now I thought the Tenori-On was a great toy but no good music would come out of it. Nice to be proved wrong.
Comment by Tony M 05.14.08 @ 11:22 pmNice work! I particularly like LA Geisha, and Slow Motion
Comment by Meta4k 05.15.08 @ 4:04 amThe bonus song was a great help for us beginning Tenori-on owners. Please consider releasing additional native format files from this great album!
Comment by Steve N. 05.16.08 @ 8:41 pmA bunch of TO song files plus sample banks will be released in the next couple of days, either through this blog or through the global Yamaha website. Stay tuned!
Comment by admin 05.16.08 @ 11:22 pmi enjoyed all the tracks, thanks for sharing.
great subtle use of the panpot function on freedom loop.
Comment by matt b 05.19.08 @ 9:27 pmVery beautiful stuff, currently listening to LA Geisha (haven’t made it through the whole thing yet). Listening to great Tenori-on music like this reminds me of how much i despise not having any money lol
Comment by scott flavin 05.22.08 @ 3:45 amYeah, really sounds good. Now I know what is Tenori-On for.
Comment by mendaka 06.11.08 @ 1:55 pmGreat. Thank you. Makes me think about using the tenori-on in multimedia productions.

THANK YOU
Excellent stuff - just when all the material out there starts to make the tenori-on sound samey this is a breath of fresh air.
Props for “LA Geisha” and “A Spooner Figure”
Everyone, keep tenori alive: http://www.tenori-onusa.com/forum/
Comment by Jimmy R 11.19.08 @ 4:35 pmNorman,
the track “The glam machines arrive” is the one I like most from your TO-Album “7days microsleep”!
Could you give some comments on how it was done in the “love your TO” section?
Thanks in advance
Andreas from Germany
(I ordered my first TO today …)
Vraiment très étrange comme son mais aussi très interressant. Ca fait du bien de trouver une minimale qui ne ressemble pas à ce dont on nous abreuve en ce moment pa chez moi
The freedom loop est vraiment exeptionnel
Lovely music! Didn’t realise the tenori-on was so flexible.
Comment by Marra 03.28.09 @ 2:24 amthis is very inspirational work, the subtle tones of the TO always make me happy…
how do you download the album? i am keen to listen to the whole thing….
Comment by Chicco 04.29.09 @ 12:15 pmVery nice and soothing in a Steve Reich-y soft of way.
Comment by enigmafon records 06.02.09 @ 2:28 amLovely music.
You have inspired me to produce my own T-O music (”7 Days Microsleep” was the first T-O music I heard) And now I’ve started my own project writing one song each week for 2010.
Thanks for leading the way and showing the world that the Tenori-On is a real instrument and not just an expensive toy.
Thank you very much for your nice words. I hope you enjoy your project and working with the TO as much as I (still) do.
